NovAtel's newest GPSCard™, the OEM4-G2, is available with an API (Application Programming Interface) option. This enhancement allows system developers to write specialized application software to run directly on the OEM4-G2 hardware platform and who may require the optional centimetre grade accuracy upgrade.

Advantages:

* API (Application Programming Interface) option, with 1 MB of code space and 2 MB of data space available for user applications.

* Typical power consuption of 1.6W.

Features:

# Software fully compatible with existing OEM4-G2 and original OEM4

# External oscillator input

# USB communications

# Intel processor

# Two serial ports at speeds up to 921,600 and 230,400 bps

# Tracking enhancements such as faster L2 reacquistion

# Two mark inputs with polarity control

# PPS output with configurable polarity and period

# Firmware fully upgradeable to higher models

# 24 channel “all-in-view” parallel tracking

# Patented Pulse Aperture Correlator (PAC™) technology

# 20 Hz raw data output rates

# 20 Hz position output rates

# Low power consumption

# Low EMI signature
