Description:
The GR-500
Personal and Vehicle GPS Tracking Device is ideal for numerous
applications that an individual can use on their person or in a
vehicle for the purpose of tracking, security or an emergency transponder.
It allows
the user to easily program the unit such as using their own mobile
phone to setup the four numbers to be dialled and then placing the
SIM card into the GR-500. The numbers are then usesd to dial out or
to accept as ligitimate user (enquirer) numbers. This is to ensure
that unauthorised calls are ignored and the four preset phone numbers
are validated and accepted. The unit can be used with voice as it
does have a microphone and a speaker.
The GR-500
can be set up to dial out and send an SMS to one of the first three
numbers if the unit is moved from a preset position or the SOS button
is pressed for more than half a second. Note: When the SOS button is
pressed the unit dials out to all first three numbers to ensure
someone receives the text message.
The fourth
phone number is for the GPRS Modem which is used to send data for
mapping software on a remote PC that is connected to another GPRS
Modem that uses the mobile phone network.
Scheduled
reporting can also be implemented which is useful to track the person
or vehicle on a regular time interval.
Overspeed
or low battery dial out is in addition to the above uses.
The GR-500
outputs a text message to the first three valid numbers in memory,
consisting of any or a mix of the following information: latitude and
longitude, time, moving, speed, battery level (in %), Status, Date,
and other options.

The three
numbers are examples of mobile phone numbers that are stored as the
preset numbers the GR-500 will dial out to or regard as valid. A
